Volume, Density and Prover

Calculate volume and volume flow rate at densitometer, turbine meter, prover and standard pressure and temperature conditions.  Allows entry of density at any of the above locations and calculates the density at the three other locations.  Volume can be entered at meter, prover and standard locations and calculates volume at the other two locations.  All calculations are made to the full 15-digit precision of the programming language. Downer and API compressibility calculations may be selected from a drop down box. ASTM1250D Table 54C thermal Alpha constants K0, K1 and K2 are selected from a fluid type drop down box or you may enter constants.

Up to four prover base volumes may be entered. Prover physical characteristics and prover pulse count can be entered to calculate the meter K-factor at meter and prover conditions. All correction coefficients and volume correction factors are calculated and displayed to assist diagnosis of flow computer errors.

Meter K-Factor Calculation

Calculates a meter K-factor from the last 5 of up to 10 prover runs. Average prover run conditions are recorded.

Flow Computer Check

Observed data for five sets of meter stream conditions are compared with calculated results with variances. The calculations are presented in three stages for densitometer conditions, meter conditions and flow rates.

Prover Computer Check

Observed data from five prove runs are compared with calculated results and the variances displayed.

Oil Densitometer Check

Calculates density in accordance with the Solartron 7915 flow computer manual using the densitometer calibration certificate constants including high and low curve fits for the pressure correction.  Calculates density for Solartron 1762, 7830 and 7835 densitometers.
